I started producing labels many years ago when I began World War Two living history. It was easier to reproduce period packaging than hide anything anachronistic from the public when attempting to cook a meal for me and the chaps. Then it expanded to things like matches so I could light the stove or soap packets for washing up! I started giving away or selling a few items; being well received I put this collection together for collectors and enthusiasts. *
That's me at an event, several years ago.
The labels are researched and if possible the reproduction labels are produced from originals in my collection. As you can imagine all original packages are around 70 years old, so a lot of work goes into making the copies look 'brand new'. Sometimes originals are difficult to find so are reproduced from information garnered from photographs, contemporary illustrations and advertisements.
All the labels are professionally printed and are of excellent quality.
